Whether you're duplicating existing Editor user roles or building new, custom roles from scratch, you can define end user limitations on a very granular level. This helps you build highly specific, custom user roles to match the exact needs of your website product portfolio.
To define limitations for an Editor user role, navigate to RAI -> Admin -> Defaults & Settings -> then click II Specific Limitations.
Click the pencil icon next to role you wish to modify.
On the II User Limitations overlay you can enable or disable a significant range of features and actions within the Editor.
This article explains each of these settings and how they affect the Editor user experience.
Assistant
If enabled, the Assistant widget will show in the bottom right corner of the Editor. Assistant is linked up to a white-labeled version of Mono Help Center and offers immediate, in-Editor help to users who can browse articles directly on the widget.
Please note that Assistant is connected to the version of Mono Help Center created for the Simple editing mode user role and all the articles are written with those particular user limitations in mind. Therefore, it won't make sense to have Assistant present in the interface if your defined user role diverges from the Simple editing mode role.
The simple editing mode version of Mono Help Center can be accessed on https://help.sitecreate.pro.
