The cookie consent widget allows site visitors to retract or change their consent preferences with only a few clicks.
The widget is displayed in either the bottom left or bottom right corner of the screen. The site visitor can click the icon of the widget anytime to see or change their consent preferences.
How to activate the cookie consent widget:
The consent widget is deactivated by default, but can be enabled under Website settings > Cookie notification.
- Navigate to Website settings > Cookie notification.
- Make sure cookie notification banner is enabled. The consent widget only shows, if the cookie notification banner is also active.
- Check the Enable cookie consent widget checkbox
Choose where the widget should be placed on the website
You can display the widget on the bottom left or bottom right side of the screen.
